Teen sensation Neenah Taylor lands two songs on soundtracks, ‘Don’t Run Away’ and ‘Stupid’

Dec. 13, 2011 - PRLog -- Sixteen year-old Soul/Pop singer, and actress, Neenah Taylor has landed two songs off her much-anticipated debut album on soundtracks for two upcoming feature films - “Gabe the Cupid Dog” and “The Dogs Christmas Miracle.” The multi-talented Baltimore native will be performing January 14, 2011 in Palms Springs, California for the Girl Scouts’ B.I.G. Expo.

One of the two songs placed on soundtracks by the 16 year-old singing sensation, Neenah Taylor, include “Don’t Run Away” for the Imagination film Gabe The Cupid Dog. “Don’t Run Away is produced by Los Angles based producer/songwriter Brandon Jarrett (Moho Productions) and written by Craig Raymo, Brandon and Toni Bua. The second song is titled “Stupid” and is also produced by Brandon Jarrett and will be on the soundtrack for the feature film The Dogs Christmas Miracle, which stars Brenda Song, Greg Evigan and Cynthia Gibb. The film is directed and produced by Michael Feifer, and Pierre David is executive producer. The film is scheduled to be released worldwide, on DVD, December 1, 2011 and arrives theatrically in the U.S. in 2012.

On January 14th the Girl Scouts of San Gorgonio will host its annual B.I.G. (Believe In Girls) Expo from 10 a.m. – 3 p.m. The B.I.G. Expo is designed to help girls learn important skills such as business ethics, banking, marketing and customer service through interactive sessions.

Recently the singer/songwriter performed with her band (Stewart Jean on drums, Mike Mennell on bass, Bob Emmet on keyboards, and Matt Waldrum on guitar) at the Sherman Oaks Festival in Los Angeles (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nMH7PsrM-GI&feature=youtu.be). At 16 years-old Neenah Taylor’s voice garnered her awards at such prestigious competitions as the Atlantic Records Showcase and has performed as opening act for such high-profile artists as Trey Songz and Angie Stone.



Also an actress/model Neenah Taylor has appeared in commercials for Chrysler and Apple Computer, co-stars with Image Award winning actor Kadeem Hardison in the feature film Sister Switch and appeared in the movie Invisible Man. Neenah has also starred in musical stage-plays such as “The Wiz” and “It’s Not About You.”
