The Signature Room's Wintertime Chef's Lunch Special Returns as a Delicious Cure For Cabin Fever
The Signature Room will be offering the Chef's Lunch Special, a gourmet, three-course menu which features a soup or salad, choice of entrée and dessert for just $20. The special will be served weekdays starting January 9 through February 29, 2012.
“We’re happy to bring back this popular fine dining lunch experience. Perfect for entertaining business associates and friends alike, the exceptional cuisine and enviable views we offer leave guests feeling invigorated and ready to take on the balance of their day,” said Angela Roman, director of operations for the iconic dining destination.
A wonderful variety of fresh menu selections will be offered daily. Consider some of these tantalizing options:
For first course starters, options may include a Parsnip-Lavender Soup with Vanilla; a Smoked Haddock Chowder; Beet and Vanilla Vodka Cured Salmon with Local Greens, Blueberry, and Creamsicle Vinaigrette;
Entrées may include a Leg of Lamb Sandwich with Garlic-Peppercorn Gouda, a Pickled Green Tomato, with Tapanade on a Sundried Tomato Focaccia; Rushing Rivers Trout with Chorizo, Fig, and Chestnut Gnocchi; or a Croque Madame with Butterkase, Pancetta, Espelette Bechamel, Brioche and a Farm Egg.
For a sweet ending to the lunch, choose a house made dessert. Selections may include a White and Dark Chocolate Mousse Cake with Kumquat Puree and Cocoa Nib Tuile; or the Classic Carrot Cake with Cream Cheese Frosting and Raisin Jam.
The $20, 3-course Chef’s Lunch Special will be served Mondays through Fridays during the regular lunch hours of 11 a.m. – 2:30 p.m. in lieu of the Lunch Buffet.
