When asked about the new game, Stefan Perdal, CEO of Tesko Gaming and Creative Director of the Yatzy Project says, “We tried to translate the simple entertainment of actually rolling the dice with your friends and capture that moment of anticipation and rivalry that is in the essence of the Yatzy.”
A long-term Yatzy enthusiast himself, Perdal continues, “Both professionally and personally, I am very happy with our Yatzy. I like it so much because it just looks and feels great. It was our job to make it effortless and instinctive so that our players would be able to just focus on the gaming, undistracted. And I think we did our job really well.”
Tesko Gaming is offering players two versions of the game: the free version and the paid version. The paid version, which is ad-free and comes with more features, has become the popular model across the world.
“We are doing really well in both the American and the European Markets. People have had plenty of positive comments on our game, and we are really happy to hear that the Yatzy is back,” adds Mr. Perdal.
Tesko Gaming is also announcing four new language options in the next update of the game, so that the company can further improve the player’s in-game experience and address an even wider audience. “We want our players to feel at home when they’re playing the Yatzy, so we will do our best to keep them happy. The French and Swedish versions of the Yatzy are already finished, and the German and Spanish versions are still in progress, but will be finished soon enough. That means that even in the very next update, the Yatzy will get four additional language interfaces” says Mr. Perdal.
Tesko Gaming has been around for few months now and the Yatzy Ultimate is the second game they have produced for the iOS. More information on Tesko Gaming, as well as its current projects, can be found on their website at http://www.teskogaming.com.
