A Sheffield man releases Killer for Christmas

Dec. 11, 2011 - PRLog -- Michael Whateley an author from Sheffield has released his second book in time for Christmas. The titles 'Killer in Mind' is set in Sheffield in the future. A future where a new wave of CCTV cameras has made crime all but non existent. The new cameras are fitted with Brainwave Monitors. These can detect the frame of mind of the person it is monitoring and if they are in a frame of mind that usually leads to crime, the camera automatically alerts the police. In this way the future is much safer. This however leaves the modern Detective with little to get their teeth into.

Adrian Jones is a detective with Sheffield C.I.D. With little crime to work on he has found another way to spend his time. He plays on a virtual reality online game called 'The Christmas Card Murders.' This is one of the best and hardest online murder mystery games. IT has a million pound prize and one of the most realistic murderers in history. Adrian is the closest so far to solving it. But when a murder happens Adrian is in a spin. Is he still in the game, the real world, or is he going mad?

Michael says that he always intended to get this out for Christmas and he is happy with the results. Initially it will be available from Smashwords and Amazon in ebook format with a paperback version to follow shortly afterward.
