Katy Perry Launched New Fragrance- Stylert.com

Dec. 11, 2011 - PRLog -- The famous singer Katy Perry, has recently launched a new fragrance called “Meow“. Inspired by the cat-woman Katy Perry is posing for her advertising campaign in a leopard print latex suit.

With Katy Perry’s first fragrance donning the name “Purr,” it came as no surprise when the star revealed that her follow-up scent will be called “Meow”. Perry created "Meow!" while on her "California Dreams" World-Tour promoting her platinum-selling second record, Teenage Dream.

This scent is a wearable interpretation of the fun, sensual spirit of fun; in fact, Perry felt the name of the fragrance needed an exclamation point at the end of it. While "Purr" marks Perry's first foray into the fragrance world, "Meow!," more than anything, embodies her energy. Meow, commands a soft sexuality appropriate for use during any time of day. Its signature comes from a pairing of honeysuckle and pear with the backdrop of creamy vanilla, musk and amber.

Perry is known for her unconventional style of dress.  It is often humorous, bright in color, and reminiscent of different decades, and she frequently used fruit-shaped accessories, mainly watermelon, as part of her outfits. Since the Teenage Dream era, Perry has included more glamorous and food-related outfits in her wardrobe.

Johnny Wujek, Perry's stylist, described her style, upon meeting her for the first time, as "very colourful and vintage". Her fashion has caught the attention of designers. She has appeared in FHM Magazine's 100 Sexiest Women poll twice, ranking at No.23 in 2009 and No.37 in 2010.

Photographer Miles Aldridge shoots the pictures for the advertising campaign. Miles Aldridge was born in London in 1964, he has published his photographs in such influential magazines as Vogue Italia, American Vogue, Numéro, The New York Times, The New Yorker, and Paradis.
