WXII 12 To Show Documentary About Winston Salem Car Dealership

Dec. 9, 2011 - PRLog -- More than 80 years after the opening of the first Frank Myers store in North Carolina, a documentary detailing the touching and occasionally hilarious story of how the Myers men created a car business that’s known all across America for its out-of-the-box thinking – not to mention its off-kilter TV commercials, is scheduled to make it’s world television premiere. After a recent successful theatrical premiere in Winston Salem, Emmy Award winning filmmaker Nick Nanton will present Car Men on Sunday December 18 at 12 noon on NBC affiliate WXII 12.

“Car Men” reveals an in-depth look at the Myers men, Frank and Tracy. While Tracy Myers may play outrageous on television to sell cars – this best-selling author, nationally-recognized entrepreneur, and devoted family man is dead serious when it comes to building a business he, his family and his city can be proud of.

The film will have its television premiere on Sunday, December 18 at 12 p.m. on the Winston-Salem NBC affiliate WXII 12. This will be the first and final television showing of 2011 and will feature footage not seen in the theatrical release. The dvd release is scheduled for mid-January and will include an additional 15 minutes of footage not seen in any other “Car Men” release to date.
