New Website Launches With Audio Guides For Independent Travellers

Dec. 8, 2011 - PRLog -- Audio walking tour specialists Citysteps’ website took on a new look today with the introduction of simple step-by-step ‘how to guides’, new ‘at a glance’ landmark icons, audio guide bundles, gift vouchers and an easy walk, cycle and wheelchair access grade for each audio guide. With new guides added regularly, the site currently offers audio guides to cities in the UK and Europe including London, Barcelona and Lisbon. Each guide can be easily downloaded from the website as an MP3 and transferred to any MP3 player. Each package also includes detailed maps and walking instructions which can be saved and printed out, and a selection of photos to whet the visitor’s appetite for their forthcoming visit, as well as links to websites of the landmarks or characters they will see and hear about.

Aimed at travellers who like to do their own thing rather than join organised tours, the audio guides can be started and stopped anywhere along the route, allowing for long lunch breaks, visits to attractions along the way, or even spreading the longer tours over a couple of days to fit in with other activities.
