Taste This! The Delicious Sequel Released With 79 More Easy-to-Make Recipes

Dec. 8, 2011 - PRLog -- San Francisco, CA — California native, Gina von Esmarch, today released her second boutique cookbook, “Taste This! The Delicious Sequel”, that will entice both the novice and the experienced cook with its easy to follow recipes, detailed explanations and homemade substitutions. Following the genre of her first cookbook, this collection of 79 new recipes is a culinary sampling of recent family, friends and urban recipes. A captivating color photo, taken by renowned photographer Tom Vano, visually brings the flavors to life and accompanies each recipe.  

In ”Taste This! The Delicious Sequel”, a full section has been added to the brunch category and in keeping with the theme of the first cookbook, the recipe directions are easy to follow and ingredients are readily found in the store. Most of the recipes can be prepped in advance to allow for a more simple preparation after work or when guests arrive.

Gina grew up in an Italian family that was passionate about preparing and enjoying food – men and women alike all took pride in their special dishes. Since the printing of her first book, “Taste This!”, Gina discovered that her love of cooking and food was a natural, yet unforeseen, association to her family’s business. Gina’s enthusiasm for entertaining and cooking with fresh seasonal ingredients often found her speaking with friends and family as they planed every day meals, discussed dietary preferences and special family occasions. With a strong following having grown on her cooking blog Bowl Licker (www.bowllicker.com) over the past three years, Gina was encouraged to start working on her second cookbook.

About the Author
Gina von Esmarch was born and raised in the San Francisco Bay Area. She is a fourth generation San Franciscan, who’s family has successfully run one of the City's oldest fine dining restaurants at Fisherman's Wharf – Alioto’s #8, founded in 1925. Gina now lives North of the Golden Gate Bridge with her husband, children and dog. In her free time she enjoys spending time around the table with her family and friends. When she is not working on her cookbook she is a strategic advisor for the high-tech marketing and communications firm Voce Communications.
