-- Green Education On Line's series of courses are to provide direction through a high quality design platform with narration and superior testing capabilities. The content teaches how to implement green business practices such as educating on the basics of water conservation, waste management, sustainability planning and provides environmental accounting guidance to employees in business and government. The company has customized industry specific educational programs and offers co-branding to their distributors. Kerry Mitchell, president of Green Education On Line says, " In today's business climate, it is important to hire a sustainability officer but they need employee buy-in and support once the programs are defined." The company is partnering with companies in Europe, China and Canada to share the Green Education On Line company model of reaching employees 24/7 through e-learning. " This is as "green" of a model for education as it comes," says Mitchell. Currently education for professional development on these topics is only available through the media, on site or through webinars and articles and tips on websites. There are programs at colleges but Mitchell says most in the workforce cannot find the time or money to go back to school. The company has signed agreements with major e-learning vendors such as Element K who was just bought by SkilSoft, Technical Transfer Services, Trilogy's Network of Care with more inquiries coming weekly. Mitchell says, "These topics are of interest in all sectors. We just completed a training series for the agricultural industry in the midwest. Distribution channels can be chambers of commerce, non profits or for-profits."
