On the Edge: Free Folk by Gary Owen

Dec. 8, 2011 - PRLog -- Gary Owen’s Free Folk will be performed at the Dylan Thomas Centre on Wednesday, 14 December at 7.30pm.

Free Folk is a joyful and witty exploration of what it is to live in today’s rural Britain. The play was commissioned and first performed by The Forest Forge Theatre Company, based in the New Forest, where the play is set.

Gary Owen is one of Wales' leading writers, whose other work includes Baker Boys and Love Steals Us From Loneliness.

A script-held performance directed by Elise Davison and starring Liz Edney, Gary Knowles, Simon Mullins, Nikki Warwick and Stephanie Garrett.

Lee Miller’s Visiting Picasso exhibition continues in the corridor gallery until 19 January.  Lee Miller charted her remarkable friendship with Picasso from 1937 to his death in 1973, and this exhibition – which includes images of other members of the international surrealist circle – offers you a unique and intimate portrait of life close to Picasso.
