North of Need Book Signing with Author Laura Kaye, Sat., December 17th at A Novel Idea, Chapter Two

Dec. 8, 2011 - PRLog -- Bridgeton NJ– On Saturday, December 17th, 2011, Laura Kaye, award-winning, multi-published author with Entangled Publishing, will have a book signing event at A Novel Idea, Chapter Two located at 21 East Commerce Street in Bridgeton, New Jersey.  The author will be on hand from 2:00 to 4:00 to chat with customers and to sign copies of her Contemporary Fantasy Romance novel, North of Need.  North of Need is the story of a young women who must let go of her widow's grief and learn to love again before the snow melts, taking the snow god who was sent to save her heart with it.

"I love the drama and challenge that comes from placing mythological characters in a modern context. Greek mythology is like an ancient soap opera, complete with political backstabbing, illicit affairs, secret babies, and ancient feuds and rivals, all with a layer of fantastical supernatural powers on top," explains Kaye.  “I've also always been intrigued by magical realism--the idea in fiction that magic truly operates in our real, everyday world. How exciting would that be to discover? And the combination in North of Need is just terrific to write and so much fun to read."  

Look for the second book in the Hearts of the Anemoi series, West of Want, publishing April, 2012. Laura is currently working on South of Surrender coming summer 2012, and East of Ecstasy will complete the four-book series late 2012.  

The signing event at A Novel Idea, Chapter Two also features award-nominated paranormal romance author Stephanie Draven whose recent release, Dark Sins & Desert Sands features an Arab-American soldier turned modern-day minotaur who learns to forgive, and love, the woman responsible for his torment.

Fans of mythological romance can expect prizes & giveaways offered by both authors. The bookstore will be serving refreshments and will have a variety of last minute gift ideas stocked for Christmas shoppers!
