Dec. 7, 2011 - PRLog -- TRAVERSE CITY, Michigan – Do-it-yourselfers around the world who want to learn to paint and to remove wallpaper like the professionals do can have their wishes granted if Santa brings them a pair of videos created by painting company entrepreneur Dan Brady.

The HGTV-style videos, entitled “How to Paint a Room Like a Pro” and “Learn How to Remove Wallpaper Like a Pro” were created by Brady as the first two of a planned series of how-to videos for do-it-yourselfers. The two are available in DVDs for $24.95 each or $39.95 for the pair. A three month subscription to each video costs $14.95 per title. Both the DVDs and the videos are available at danbradypaintingtricks.com.

“These videos are always popular at the holiday season. Some people make them early holiday gifts, I suspect as a small nudge to their spouses to help get their home ready for holiday entertaining,” Brady says. “Others use them as gifts for family members or friends who enjoy do-it-yourself projects.”

Brady originally created the painting video as an outgrowth of his painting and wood restoration business. “I realized that there are millions of people out there who will never hire us to paint their homes. They may want to save money or they may just be avid do-it-yourselfers who enjoy the satisfaction of tackling a project themselves,” he says.

After the first video was on the market Brady started getting requests for more titles. He decided to create the wallpaper video next after listening to client horror stories about their past experiences in removing wallpaper. “There were a lot of sad stories out there – from do-it-yourselfers who found themselves taking down a whole room of wallpaper in small scraps to people who hired someone to take down wallpaper and ended up with sticky, gouged walls that took time and effort to get ready for painting.

Brady learned to paint working his way through Central Michigan University, where he graduated with a finance degree. He founded Dan Brady Painting and Wood Restoration 12 years ago to handle residential and commercial painting projects. He is the official spokesman for FrogTape® painting tape, which he and his crew use to get razor sharp lines on all their painting projects.
