NEW Hertfordshire Venue Review Site

Dec. 7, 2011 - PRLog -- Hertfordshire 07/12/2011. Farther and son duo Adam and Steve Barnes embarked on a quest in 2011, that quest was to build a website with all the venues in Hertfordshire on and to use Adams design skills to make it look nice and work well. So far they have achieved it with a live site full of Hertfordshire’s venues called http://www.venueshire.co.uk/

Having created a comprehensive site that details some great venues around the Hertfordshire they are now looking to see how far and wide they can make the site reach within the confines of the county, “The aim now is really to see how many people want to use it, if no one can see what we have to offer then it simply won’t get any where”

The site started in the historic town of St Albans and moved to the immediate towns first like Hatfield, Hemel and Welwyn, each time trying to shoot the venues on days where the lighting was good to obtain the most flattering images possible. Thankfully most of the county was photographed in the summer months so long days helped catch the light and made the job more appealing. The scale of the task became clear after the first few towns, with each town boasting at least 20 venues and some up to 60 the county, when completed, would encompass over 500 listings!

From there the larger towns like Watford and Stevenage were captured and uploaded and once those were in the bag focus turned more to the refinement of the site. “Our goal is to try and provide a useful comprehensive service to the people of Hertfordshire, we want people to be able to use our site easily and provide them with the information they are looking for fast”.

Having completed as much of Hertfordshire as they could it is now live and ready to be used.
