The Giving Goose announces contest for young artists
Selected artists’ designs to be displayed on product line; portion of proceeds to benefit non-profits

And now The Giving Goose is encouraging young artists everywhere to submit their original artwork, with selected entries to appear on future company products. The chosen artists will select a charity of their choice for addition to the company’s current group of benefitting non-profits.
Artwork submissions can be uploaded to the company’s website, www.thegivinggoose.com, or can be mailed to The Giving Goose, 6 Little Brook Road, West Wareham, MA, 02576. All artwork submitted by December 31, 2011 will be considered in the round of judging to be held at the end of January 2012. Winners will be notified and clothing and other products incorporating the original artwork from selected entrants will be sold at a variety of outlets and will also be available online from the company’s website.

With a company motto of “kids CAN make a difference” The Giving Goose line currently maintains seven designs that have been scanned, digitally colorized and screen printed onto brightly colored t-shirts and sweatshirts for babies and children. The original designs by Bethany Sawyer and her friend Benjamin include a butterfly, duck, sailboat, frog, skyscraper, sunflower and monster truck.
