Blacknight Announce General Availability Launch of .XXX

Dec. 6, 2011 - PRLog -- Irish registrar and hosting company Blacknight is pleased to announce that .XXX domains are now available to the general public.

As of 1600 UTC (4pm) on December 6, 2001, .XXX, “the progressive new home for adult entertainment online” has begun accepting domain registrations on a first come, first served basis. Now all members of the adult Sponsored Community can apply without pre-existing rights or qualifications, unlike in the previous launch periods.

.XXX domains will create a clearly signposted place where adult entertainment can be accessed and allow Internet users to have a clear idea of the nature of the site before they click, rather than after.
