Tulsa Professional Groups Welcome DTAG Executive Scott Anderson

Three professional groups are joining to offer a luncheon entitled, "Character & Integrity: The Foundation of Outstanding Leadership" by keynote speaker and DTAG executive Scott Anderson on Thursday, December 15, 2011.

Dec. 5, 2011 - PRLog -- Tulsa, Okla.― The Tulsa Chapters of the Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA), the Institute of Management Accountants (IMA) and the Oklahoma Business Ethics Consortium (OK Ethics) will host keynote speaker Scott Anderson, senior executive vice president of Dollar Thrifty Automotive Group, Inc. (DTAG), on Thursday, December 15, 2011.  

   The high-energy executive will deliver a presentation entitled, “Character & Integrity: The Foundation of Outstanding Leadership.”  Anderson will share practical, real life principles in a fun and interactive way while applying each one of them to the audience.
   
    According to Anderson, truly effective leadership has never been more important in corporate America than today.  In his keynote address, Anderson will explore what great leaders do differently to lead effectively and provide vital core principles for the audience to use day to day.  

    “We have heard tremendous reports about Scott Anderson’s presentation,” said Michael Oonk, OK Ethics Tulsa Chapter President. “Scott will share his insights regarding four of his ‘Eight Principles of Outstanding Leadership,’ with a particular focus on the role that character and integrity have as foundational requirements for outstanding leaders,” stated Oonk.  

    Anderson has developed these leadership principles through years of research and personal experience.

    The December meeting will be a joint program with the Tulsa chapters of IIA and IMA, with OK Ethics being the meeting’s host organization.

    The luncheon will be held at the DoubleTree Hotel downtown, 616 W. Seventh St., from 11:30 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.  The cost for the lunch program is $25 for OK Ethics members (except prepaid) and $35 for non-members. Guests are welcome and encouraged to attend, though reservations are required. Register online at www.okethics.org no later than Monday, December 12.
