Gordo, AL-- Award-Winning Author and Songwriter Mark Jones has just released a new series of books, the Anderson Girls Books on e-books.  The first book was just released on Kindle and Nook, ‘The SECRET of APPLEGATE FARM’.  In his book author Mark Jones surmises, “Follow Noelle and Alaina Anderson where ‘an intriguing summer adventure at an old farmhouse leads three teenagers into exciting explorations that they cannot resist.’”

Mark Jones states, “The teenage characters in this series are actually patterned from my real life daughters aged a bit.  It is a wonderful privilege to include them as characters in these books.  This first one is especially exciting because it begins at the school system where they now are attending.  I really enjoy adding real life settings and characters into the books.  It tags them with a sense of realism that a total fantasy leaves out.”

“Although the first book is targeting ages 9-12, every parent should want to read and have books like this available for their children,” the author further states.  “It is just a wholesome summer adventure story they can read and you won’t have to worry about them.”

Jones’ other releases include his first book ‘The Long Road to Nowhere’.  He has since released four other e-books.  One story from the e-book A Story Worth Telling.... (BEST SHORT STORIES) won Second Place for Fiction Writing at the Southern Christian Writers Conference in June of 2011.

In addition to being an Award-Winning writer, Mark Jones is also an Award-Winning and ‘Top 40’ Charting Songwriter with a background in Southern Gospel Music and has taught songwriting seminars with the legendary Grammy and Dove Award-Winning songwriter Dottie Rambo, Gerald Crabb, and Dianne Wilkinson.
