MetroPCS® Dallas White Rock Marathon® Board Members, Sponsors to Visit Patients at TSRHC

Dec. 2, 2011 - PRLog -- Dallas White Rock Marathon board members and sponsors recently visited Texas Scottish Rite Hospital for Children while TSRHC patients signed autographs and handed out DWRM race T-shirts to kick off race weekend.  

Texas Scottish Rite Hospital for Children has been the primary beneficiary of the Dallas White Rock Marathon® since 1997. This event kicked off race weekend and is a time for MetroPCS® Dallas White Rock Marathon® board members, sponsors, Dallas Police Department officers and special guests to visit the hospital. The event is a way to show appreciation to those who work year-round to make race weekend so special.

TSRHC Patient Champions, who serve as young ambassadors for the hospital representing the thousands of children treated at the hospital each year, along with the 2011 Junior Race Director and TSRHC patient, Mabeth Diaz, age 13 of Dallas, signed autographs and passed out race T-shirts to fellow TSRHC patients.
