Dec. 2, 2011 - PRLog -- As organisations in the private and public sector seek to adopt new processes to improve efficiency and standardisation, as well as cut costs, shared services and outsourcing have increased in popularity.

Shared services are seen as beneficial to business as they are known to demand fewer resources and increase efficiency by creating specialisation and standardisation, making experts within an organisation, as well as creating opportunities for consolidation and collaboration between bodies such as the Police and Health services.

However, some fears remain about shared services and outsourcing as there are practical issues associated with merging business processes and many workers have concerns that efficiency drives could lead to job losses.

The Shared Services and Outsourcing Exchange Asia will take place 20 - 22 February, 2012 at the Hotel Amara, Singapore. For more information please visit: http://www.sharedservices-exchangeapac.com/
