Popular Protein Shake Site Gets Full Redesign

The website, which started life back in 2009, is used by thousands of people every month looking to find the tastiest, most effective whet protein blends. " I started the site because I was a little fed up reading the manufacturers descriptions which basically tell everyone how great the product is. What I have done is created an unbiased platform for users to get honest information before they spend their hard earned cash on a protein blend."

It seems to be working, the site currently averages 100 000 unique visitors every year and this will only grow. So what made him decide on the redesign?

"The original site was awful, I built it myself using notepad a HTML for dummies book and a lot of coffee. It was okay when it was getting a few hits a day but when it started to grow, we needed something a bit more user friendly."

In the time it's taken Best Protein Shakes to grow, Steve has been busy learning more about web design and has brought the site up to speed with his current knowledge.
"We hope the site is a lot more user friendly now and a bit more pleasing on the eye, I also wanted the site to be mobile enhanced and will be working to build this feature in very soon."

As the site grows, it seems glaringly obvious it could be used as a platform to offer for sale the protein shakes the site reviews on a regular basis.

"It has crossed my mind, but we'll have to see how it goes. Whatever the future holds, it's important that we stay grounded and true to the principles that we had when we started and that was to provide protein shake users with more information to help them make better buying decisions".
