All Aboard For FREE Holiday Family Fun At Heaven Hill Farm

Nov. 30, 2011 - PRLog -- For kids of all ages, some holiday traditions are as anticipated as waking early on Christmas morning to a find that jolly ole’ St. Nick has tucked away some much wished for presents underneath the tree. Shopping for the perfect Christmas tree,  chugging along on a colorful holiday train ride and convincing Santa that you are on the “nice” list, may be three additional seasonal favorites.
If in accordance with the family tradition of tree shopping, a holiday-style train ride would be a welcome addition to the outing, Heaven Hill Farm is offering FREE carnival style train rides for children every weekend in December from 11:00am – 5:00pm through Christmas Eve, (special Christmas Eve hours are 11:00am – 3:00pm).
Experience a magical visit with Santa Clause on December 3, 4, 10 and 11 from 12 noon – 4:00pm. Enjoy the twinkling lights and animated singing bears that adorn Santa’s wonderland scene and complimentary candy canes given out by Santa himself. Take a photo with Santa to treasure the moment, or capture a classic family portrait nestled up against the seasonal backdrop.
The aroma of warm cider donuts, holiday pies and cookies fill the air inside the farm market and gift shop. Seasonally festive funnel cakes and hot cocoa will be available at an outdoor concession stand on the weekends for all shoppers to enjoy.
Established in 1982, Heaven Hill Farm is a 150 acre working farm and full service garden center offering annuals, perennials, shrubs, trees, gardening supplies, seasonal produce, patio and pool furniture, sheds and seasonal giftware.
