Is Allgood Alabama's stand on illegal aliens all good?

Nov. 30, 2011 - PRLog -- Allgood Alabama, population 629, is known for its’ strong American ideals and stand on illegal immigrants.  If you aren’t in Allgood legally then businesses will not recognize you and that means no work, no town benefits, no services – no nothing.  In fact according to HB 56 it is a felony to provide water to the home of a known illegal immigrant.  As the Mayor of Allgood stated,  ”We managed in the past without illegal immigrants to pick the tomatoes here, and I haven’t heard anyone say that if we sent them all home nobody would be left to do that work. When you have 9 percent unemployment, I think that some people who might not have wanted those jobs previously might reconsider.”
