A Divabetic December to Remember Gift Bag of Diabetes Inspiration

Divabetic’s monthly Diva TalkRadio live podcast programming begins on December 6 at 6:00 p.m. with Diabetes Spotlight featuring Sébastien Sasseville, one of only three people in the world living with a chronic disease to climb Mount Everest.  Hear his thrilling story and learn how to manage diabetes in any situation.  On December 13 at 6:00 p.m., it’s Diabetes Roundtable inspired by Shakira, recently named to the White House Initiative on Educational Excellence for Hispanics and widely known for her ability to take risks and side-step fears.  The program also features a hot topic discussion with the Charlie’s Angels of Diabetes Outreach, a panel of certified diabetes educators from across the country, including Constance Brown-Riggs, MSED, RD and author of The African American Guide to Living Well with Diabetes; a menu review of healthy dining choices at Uno Chicago Grill, a Food Aisle Face-off between broccoli and cauliflower; and a Mother Your Diabetes commentary from Mama Rose Marie.    Throughout the month, catch information shorts on favorite foods, celebrities and diva gossip, including the inside story of Sade with Jeff James of Sony Records, how to exercise sitting down with author Renee Wiggins and Mr. Divabetic’s countdown of favorite products for diabetes self-care and inspiration.
