Gary Payne set up Life Skills For Children, and here here discusses why it was set up, who it's for and tells us what it will look to become in the future as a project.
We all appreciate the importance of investing our positive energy into the development of young people within our communities. In our efforts to make the world a better place for all life on our planet, the education of our young is paramount.
The "Young People are our Future" name was inspired by the need to educate young people in skills that will enable them to become the best they can be.
The event was FREE and provided access to a number of FUN and INTERACTIVE activities for young people and their families to increase their:
Confidence & Self Esteem
Body Language Skills
Understanding of KEY Life Skills
Professionals from a number of groups came together for one night to provide creative learning experiences in Acting, Dancing, Singing, Personal Safety and much more.
There was competitions for the attendees to participate in and demonstrations from local dance groups.
Due to the kindness of local companies a selection of wonderful gifts were sold at the event via a mini auction to raise money for Children In Need.

Life Skills for Children provide educational programmes for Children aged 5-16 years in social responsibility, knife awareness, personal safety and communication skills. Taught within Schools, Sports Groups and Social Clubs. DVD tuition for Worldwide.
