Beyond Recruitment expands ICT division

Nov. 28, 2011 - PRLog -- Beyond Recruitment have certainly gone “Beyond Expectation” in 2011. Not only have they climbed over 80 places in the rankings of the Queensland Top 400 listing to # 302, they were also included in the BRW Fast 100 for the first time in their history.

Managing Director Michael Postle is overwhelmed by the success. He remarked “2011 has been a fantastic year for Beyond Recruitment. I am so pleased that the commitment and determination shown by the team to build a strong reputation within our chosen specialties has resulted in such success”. Michael has recently appointed two experienced ICT personnel who are now based in the Brisbane office to manage the growth within one of their specialist divisions.

Warren Peters joins Beyond as Manager of the Information and Technology recruitment division, based in Brisbane, bringing with him over 22 years of ICT Recruitment experience.  

Previously with Data#3 as National Manager of their ICT Recruitment department, Warren was responsible for the brand and growth of their business from 10 staff in two locations to 32 staff in 4 locations, delivering contract and permanent resourcing services across the private and public sector.

Warren has an excellent understanding of all things ICT having also worked directly in Information Technology roles and managing cross functional teams of application development and infrastructure focused IT professionals.

Karen O’Malley joins Beyond as Talent Manager within the Information and Technology recruitment division, bringing with her over 20 years direct IT experience.  Karen’s role will involve sourcing and securing the best talent for our client organisations from her extensive network.

With an in-depth knowledge of the IT Project Lifecycle gained through formal studies and her 20 years experience as an IT professional she is an excellent understanding of the latest technologies and the key skills required for each role within the ICT sector.


BEYOND RECRUITMENT TO OPEN SYDNEY OFFICE

Beyond Recruitment are expanding their Australian footprint in the New Year by opening an office in Sydney. Located centrally in Pitt Street, they will be well positioned to service their global clients and attract experienced ICT talent to their growing candidate resource pool.

Vicky Liu will be ‘kick-starting’ the new Sydney office and she brings a depth of IT, Recruitment and Banking & Finance experience with her.
