TCWF'S 1st Annual Children's Christmas Party

Nov. 28, 2011 - PRLog -- WASHINGTON, D.C., November 23, 2011 – TC Wallace Foundation’s hosts its 1st Annual Children’s Christmas Party Saturday, December 10 at Columbia Heights Youth Club in Washington, DC for homeless and disadvantaged children. Compliments of Mattel Toys and Toys for Tots, each child will be given a present from Santa himself.

Many of these children are experiencing the difficult challenges of being homeless or suffering from financial hardships and may not even have the opportunity to experience the joys of the holiday season. This Christmas Party allows them to enjoy a day of fun and games, tasty food, face painting, in-door kickball, storytelling…making it “a place where a kid can be a kid.”

This year, the TC Wallace Foundation staff set its goal to support 300 children in the Washington, DC community. We encourage parents to visit us at www.tcwallacefoundation.org and register their children to participate in this exciting event. The registration period ends on Wednesday, November 30, 2011. We look forward to seeing everyone at this monumental event.
