LiquidLEDs Unveils The Brightest LED Bulb On The Market

Nov. 27, 2011 - PRLog -- Liquidleds bulbs are designed and manufactured to comply with energy efficient parameters and, unlike other bulbs, are mercury free and fully recyclable.

2U and 3U LED light bulbs, the new addition, are made specifically for Australian 240V AC power supply with a special resistor to protect bulbs from blowing in case of a voltage surge.

The dimmable bulbs offer a vast 360-degree warm white light spread which is unique feature to Liquidleds bulbs as most products offered on the market offer a beam angle of just 120-270 degrees.

While the 2U LED bulb uses just 10W (650 lumen) and produces 50W-60W, the 3U LED bulb uses just 15.6W (850 lumen) and produces a bright 70W-80W light. Both bulbs are available in bayonet cap (B22) and Edison screw (E27) which fit most common household and business light fittings in Australia.

The heat generated by the bulbs is under 60 degrees Celsius, whereas heat generated by incandescent bulbs is anywhere between 200-300 degrees. As for Compact Fluorescent light (CFL) bulbs, research suggests that CFL bulbs can negatively affect people with autism, lupus, epilepsy and those who suffer from migraines.

Liquidleds offers the standard 12-month replacement warranty on all their products, and are compliant with Australia and international RoHS, CE, UL, cUL safety standards. They also include patent technologies and TUV Rheinland safety certifications. Liquidleds estimates that both the 2U and 3U bulbs should last for over 10 years when operated for 4 hours daily.
