Kebra Moore Launches a National Call to Action Campaign to Support Disabled Service Members

Nov. 26, 2011 - PRLog -- Kebra Moore is using her music and inspirational messages, to raise the awareness of the many sacrifices military service members and their families make daily. The primary goal is to show them our appreciation for their service. Through the "Let’s Say Thank You Campaign” we hope to encourage these service members that are facing life changing injuries to focus on their abilities and not disabilities.

During this holiday season “Let’s Say Thank You Campaign” is focused on sending heartfelt, handwritten letters of gratitude, cards and magazine subscriptions to our injured service members that are deployed and waiting to recuperate and return home to their families.

On Christmas Eve in 1999, Kebra Moore was involved in a motor vehicle accident, which left her paralyzed in the lower extremities. She personally understands the many challenges associated with a sudden life style change. She has not allowed this accident to stop her from living a life filled with passion and pursuing her goals.

“Kebra is a graduate of Claflin University, where she received her Bachelor’s of Arts degree in music education. In spite of her injury and challenges, she is making a name for herself in the music industry. Kebra song titled “He’ll Make A Way” was featured on President Barack Obama documentary soundtrack "BECOMING BARACK: Evolution of a Leader". She has appeared on Black Entertainment Television’s (BET) hit show “Bobby Jones Gospel”. Her single “Troubles" was nominated for the "Best Gospel Song and Video" on BET Music Awards this year.
