Nov. 24, 2011 - PRLog -- Rotary Club Beirut Cedars, aiming to create awareness among children about the dangers of drugs, has launched, in participation with Fabriano, the 47th annual drawing competition, along with other sponsors. The 2011-2012 competition officially began on Monday, November 14th 2011. The students have five themes to choose from including Rotary Club Beirut Cedars’s theme for this year "NO TO DRUGS".
Since its creation in 1965 the Fabriano Drawing Contest became a tradition in all the Lebanese schools, where more than 100,000 students participate each year. More than 5,000 prizes and certificates are distributed yearly to the talented contestants.
Rotary Club Beirut Cedars, now embarking on its second year since its inception, has accomplished more than 130,000 USD worth of projects within its first year.
