Carlile Patchen & Murphy LLP Welcomes Nationally-Known Estate Planning Attorney to the Firm
Columbus, OH – September 6, 2011 – Carlile Patchen & Murphy is pleased to announce that nationally-known estate planning expert Alan Acker has joined the firm. Most recently, Acker served as Franklin County Probate Court Judge.
Acker has been an estate planning lawyer for more than 30 years, working in law firms in Columbus, Chicago, and Norfolk, Virginia. He focuses his practice in the areas of estate planning, estate and gift taxation, income taxation of trusts and estates, charitable giving and probate. In addition, he has authored several books, including five BNA tax portfolios and numerous articles for professional publications in the estate planning field. He has lectured across the country at many well respected estate planning professional conferences.
