Nov. 24, 2011 - PRLog -- Christmas 2011 is getting into full swing at SantaPost.co.uk with the current buzz surrounding the site this year.

SantaPost.co.uk sells personalised letters from Santa and has been doing so since 2004, but hit a noticeable dip in sales in 2008 when the global economic crisis struck.

“Talk of the recession has made Christmas a little gloomy over the past few years” said Ross Llewelyn, Founder of SantaPost.co.uk, “but this year things have really started to pick back up again, and the Christmas spirit has really come alive in our social media fan pages ”.

Part of this is down to the Christmas competitions being run by the website to help drive more business, “We are offering a prize draw entry for every letter sold to win High Street shopping vouchers, which we think is a great prize to help with the cost of Christmas” said Ross, “We are also using Social media to run other competitions in the run up to Christmas like our current Twitter competition”.

The Twitter competition involves Tweeting a short advert for SantaPost.co.uk which then automatically adds you in the running to win a festive Hamper just in time for Christmas.

“We are building a great Christmas community thanks to social media and our competitions, it makes our customers more accessible and is a much more fun way to do business” Ross added.
