-- Orange County, Calif. – Lyon Communities, recognized as one of the largest and most respected privately held multi-family real estate companies in Southern California, has launched their annual “Giving Back For The Holidays” campaign at 11 communities in Orange County. The drive will provide gifts for children who will be spending their holidays at the Orangewood Children’s Foundation.
“At this time of the year, there are many children who have been victims of abuse or neglect,” said Frank T. Suryan, Jr., Chairman and CEO of Lyon Communities. “The ‘Giving Back For The Holidays’ campaign allows our residents to experience the joy of sharing the Christmas spirit with these children.”
Lyon communities in Anaheim Hills, Dana Point, Fullerton, Huntington Beach, Lake Forest, Placentia, Rancho Santa Margarita, San Clemente and San Juan Capistrano are participating in the “Giving Back For The Holidays” program. Residents who wish to participate can donate an unwrapped gift or gift card at their leasing center. Participants are asked to bring the unwrapped gift or gift card by Monday, December 12, to ensure that all gifts are delivered on time.
Orangewood Children’s Foundation is a 24-hour emergency shelter care facility for children who have been abused, abandoned and/or neglected and is owned and operated by the County of Orange Social Services Agency. Lyon Communities has supported the Orangewood Children’s Foundation for many years, and Suryan serves on the Board of Directors.
