Revolabs adds 8,000 S/F at 144 North Road, Sudbury

Nov. 22, 2011 - PRLog -- SUDBURY, MA – Wireless audio solutions provider Revolabs is undergoing its second expansion at 144 North Road, Sudbury since signing its lease in mid-2010. A local company with a global presence, it is adding 8,000 square feet of office space, expanding its headquarters to 23,000 square feet. This development brings the total occupancy of the Cummings Properties building to more than 95 percent.

A manufacturer of wireless microphones and audio equipment, Revolabs makes products used in broadcasting, distance learning, webcasts, video and audio conference calls, and more. The six-year-old company recently partnered with international distributors to reach the Chinese and Russian markets, and also serves customers in Europe, Hong Kong, and Australia.

According to Revolabs CFO Peter Hemme, “Our business continues to grow, and the additional space is essential. We’ve been very happy with our office at 144 North Road, and are looking forward to having even more space.”

Previously headquartered in neighboring Maynard, Revolabs worked with Cummings Properties’ in-home design team to plan its initial 13,000-square-foot layout, and soon after added an additional 2,000 square feet. The combined space, consisting of offices, product testing facilities, and research and development labs, was designed with future expansion in mind.

Cummings Properties’ Tony Spencer, leasing/property manager for 144 North Road, said, “We congratulate Revolabs on its impressive growth, especially in this difficult economic climate.”

Spencer reported that construction of the additional office space began in mid-November, and is expected to be completed within 30 days. Once finished, Revolabs will occupy roughly 35 percent of 144 North Road.
