Bermuda is the Setting for Executive Educational Summit Hosted by Performance Enhancement Incentives
Employee, customer and vendor engagement was the focus of the educational summit attended by industry leaders in Bermuda.
Bruce Bolger, managing director of The Enterprise Engagement Alliance, was the keynote speaker. Bolger conducts and creates research tools related to engagement, including the Enterprise Engagement Indicator and Meter for tracking an organization’
During the 4-day summit, attendees visited several hotels and restaurants and experienced some of the attractions of this beautiful island. Hotel executives conducted site tours to demonstrate their ability to manage groups of all sizes, arrange meetings, and provide a high quality experience for their guests. And the exceptional food and service experienced at several restaurants proved that Bermuda hospitality is indeed an undiscovered gem.
“Bermuda is sometimes overlooked because it is so close by,” says Colin Higgins, President of PEI, who spoke about the benefits of offering an incentive travel reward that is close to home but which doesn’t sacrifice quality. “The beaches, the people and the overall atmosphere of Bermuda are world class” and provide the opportunity for unique experiences. Higgins said that the summit attendees participated in a mini-sailing regatta around Hamilton Harbor. He is planning a larger version that will include ten sailboats for a program in Bermuda next spring. “These are the experiences that program guests will remember for a long time and which will benefit the company offering the incentive,” Higgins concluded.
This is the latest in a series of Executive Educational Summits that PEI has hosted and believes it is an effective way for executives to participate in interactive seminars on important business topics of today as well as learn first-hand how a memorable and meaningful experience can deliver the business results they want.
