Indianapolis-Based Company Opens New Office in Australia

In conjunction with opening the new office, Bastian has hired a General Manager and will continue hiring several new positions from the Sydney area—including an office manager, field sales engineers, project engineers, and field technicians.

Allan Slingsby, the new General Manager of Bastian Australia, joined the company earlier this year and is excited about Bastian’s expansion into the Asia-Pacific region.

Bastian Australia is currently installing its first material handling system in the Sydney area, valued at more than $12 million USD, with additional projects underway.  The new office is also receiving several requests for proposals and has a base of suppliers ready to help serve customers throughout Australia and New Zealand.
