Nov. 17, 2011 - PRLog -- London, November 17, 2011 – British businesses need support if they are going to provide apprenticeships to young people and help to kickstart the economy according to Quest Professional Business Training.

The government announced today that employers will be able to bid for a share of the new £250 million government fund to invest in training following concerning recent unemployment figures which showed that the jobless total for 16 to 24-year-olds hit a record high of 1.02 million in the last quarter.

Quest Professional works with multi-national corporations and small companies to provide bespoke business training for new recruits and through their own professional coaching courses.

Quest Professional Managing Director Sean Morgan, who started his career in the financial markets before joining Quest, believes that companies must undertake professional training for young new recruits if their hires are to provide long term value – and for them to be eligible for government funding.

Sean Morgan said: “Quest Professional is delighted to see that the government is to provide a shot in the arm for British businesses following the extremely worrying statistics regarding youth unemployment.

“Quest Professional has years of experience delivering exactly the sort of training that young people need when they want to go into business and we welcome advising companies on how to pull together their own training programmes to assist them as they seek to meet the criteria for some of the public funding announced today.

“We offer a range of vocational training courses based around the needs of employers and we look forward to working with businesses to help them to map their own training requirements and to develop customised training programmes specific to their organisation.

“Given the pressure on all companies at present, young recruits have to be able to hit the ground running both to help companies to sustain and grow and also for their own career progression.”

Quest Professional runs a range of courses which offer a complete range of business and personal development skills that ensures candidates can undertake a variety of roles, which is so vitally important in the competitive jobs market, such as finance, strategic planning, marketing and presentation.
