Jameson Commercial closes 4 bar/restaurant sales and find a permanent home for Chicago music icon

Nov. 15, 2011 - PRLog -- (Chicago, IL) Jameson Commercial is pleased to announce four business brokerage deals at local bars in just two months - all brokered by Mike Costanzo working closely with Brian Troglia, a dram  (liquor specific) attorney.  The liquor licenses for all 4 deals were grandfathered due to Costanzo’s expertise in facilitating the buyers purchase of the corporate entity whether C corporation, S corporation or limited liability company.
1)   The Spread, a 4,000 sq. ft. sports bar  in the epicenter of Lincoln Park located at 2476 N. Lincoln Avenue, the center of “The Taste of Lincoln Ave” Summer Festival, sold for $200,000.
2)   Ropa , a 4,000 sq. ft. restaurant  at 1146 W. Pratt Boulevard one block from Columbia Beach considered the “Gem of Rogers Park” sold for $150,000.
3)   Twelve West, a 2,200 sq. ft. sophisticated piano bar at 12 W. Elm Street in the heart of the Gold Coast / Rush Street night life sold for $200,000.  This location was formerly the nightclub Elm Street Liquors and previously the legendary Spike’s Rat Bar.
4)   Underground Wonder Bar, a 4,000 sq. ft., 2 floor venue at 710 N. Clark Street is now the new and permanent home of the Chicago music icon Lonie Walker.  Lonie’s new location in River North features live music seven days a week with a tavern, P.P.A and late night license. Lonie’s World Famous Underground Wonder Bar was located on Walton Street, between Rush and State, for 21 years prior to the building be sold and having to vacate in just 30 days.  After she operated without a permanent location for the last 10 months, Costanzo was able to broker a deal for her at a larger venue ensuring this music icon continues to perform for years and years to come.
