The North Face® Speaker Series Europe features three top athletes from The North Face® team including: Italian alpinist Simone Moro; Kazak alpinist Denis Urubko; and American alpinist and photographer Cory Richards. In February 2011, these three athletes were the first to successfully make a winter ascent of Gasherbrum II, the 13th highest mountain on Earth located in the Karakoram range of the Himalaya. This amazing feat was achieved without support from sherpas, high altitude porters or supplemented oxygen.

The North Face European  Speaker Series has focused on the athletes’ tales of adventure and extreme endurance during the Gasherbrum II summit and includes a photography exhibition.
