Bill Lehman Earns Certified Mortgage Banking (CMB) Designation from Mortgage Bankers Association

Nov. 15, 2011 - PRLog -- (Fairfax, VA) – The Mortgage Bankers Association (MBA) has awarded Bill Lehman, Director of CC Pace’s Mortgage Consulting Practice, the Certified Mortgage Banker (CMB) designation. Lehman joins a select number of real estate finance professionals and management consultants who have exhibited their superior knowledge, understanding and competency in residential and/or commercial real estate finance by earning the CMB designation.  The CMB, the highest professional designation for the real estate finance industry, was presented to Lehman at a ceremony held at MBA's 98th Annual Convention & Expo in
Chicago, Illinois.

Lehman first had to meet requirements through a combination of professional experience, industry participation through MBA-sponsored events and CampusMBA courses.  He then had to pass a comprehensive written exam, and demonstrate industry knowledge by passing an oral exam conducted by a panel of Certified Mortgage Bankers.

Lehman holds a distinguished almost 30 year career at CC Pace, consulting to the mortgage industry on financial technology systems and processes.  Throughout the years he has helped clients both in the primary and secondary markets across all sizes of lenders, all origination channels, secondary marketing and servicing. Highlights of his career include extensive program management in reengineering origination processes and as a pioneer in Automated Underwriting Systems.  Lehman is also the author of numerous articles, including: “The Future of Automated Underwriting,” “Project Risk Management” and “Managing Cyclicality - how to build a scalable organization.”
