Texas Yacht Show and Jazz Fest sails into Kemah

Nov. 12, 2011 - PRLog -- The Kemah Boardwalk Marina will host the all new Texas Yacht Show and Jazz Fest Friday through Sunday, November 11-13.

Millions of dollars worth of luxury power and sailing yachts ranging from 31-50 feet, will be on display in-the-water, ready for touring and instant demo cruises. All of the featured yachts will be new models and ready for immediate delivery.

The music offerings will be an eclectic mix that is sure to please just about everyone. From Texas Swing, Steel Drum and Funk Fusion to Latin Jazz and Bossa Nova. Also on tap is a big Saturday night of Cuban music with Salsa and Merinigue and dancing — and of course Cuban cigars.

Some of the entertainment featured will be the Ezra Charles Band, Lois Albez, San Jacinto College Central Steel Band, Rudy Rincon and Grupo Kache, Kelly Dean, Tropic Envoy and more. All the entertainment will take place under a climate-controlled tent by the marina.

The luxury event will also offer for your viewing, luxury motor coaches, airplanes, motorcycles and high performance cars. There will be a variety of marine related products and services on display. Plus, you will have the opportunity to meet Abby Sunderland, the youngest female to attempt to sail singlehanded around the world.

Ticket prices are $15.00 for single day general admission or $25.00 for two day general admission. Discounts are available for military, senior citizens and children 6-14 years of age. You can order tickets online at www.texasyachtshow.com. The show is produced by Kaiser Entertainment Group.
