The Bengaluru Recycling Habba 2011 comes to a close following a fortnight of events held in Bangalore between November 1- 13 . The closing ceremony will take place at The Chancery Pavillion, Residency Road, Bangalore, Sunday, November 13, 2011.
The ceremony will be presided by Mr. Siddaiah, Commissioner, BBMP. Guests of Honour include: Mr. A.S Sadashiviah, IFS (Retd.) Chairman, KSPCB; Mr. A.N Yellappa Reddy , Environmentalist, Bangalore; and Mr. R Chenraj Jain , President, Jain University .
The two week Recycling Habba was organized by The Solid Waste Management Round Table Bengaluru (SWMRT), supported by the Karnataka State Pollution Control Board (KSPCB), Bruhat Bangalore Mahanagara Pailke (BBMP) and the Karnataka High Court Legal Services Committee. It aimed at attracting attention to the issues of Solid Waste Management in Bangalore.
