The ERC Group Announces New President

Nov. 11, 2011 - PRLog -- At the second annual American Muslim Consumer Conference,  Manny Volk, CEO of The Premier Groupe’, Ltd., a commerce venture holding company, announced the appointment of Dr. Walter Guarino to the position of company President ERC Group.  Dr. Guarino  will be responsible Strategic Affairs and Marketing Communications for the company as it becomes the world’s recognized standard and brand certification for plastic food service products such as packaging, utensils, and containers are manufactured free of animal stearates, animal by-products. ERC stands for “ethnic and religiously compliant”.  Currently, there are standards to certify food and food ingredients, but none for the plastics used in packaging those foods.

Dr. Guarino brings with him a total of thirty-eight years of professional marketing and communications experience.  He has developed programs and communications plans for over 400 clients, including Mobil, Warner-Lambert, Merrill Lynch, Harvard Business School, Johnson & Johnson, Unilever, JP Morgan, Goldman Sachs, and many others.  He was also awarded the highest recognition a NJ resident can receive, the Governor’s Gold medal for the multinational statewide initiative called “Many Faces. One Family”.

In the past, he has been president and general manager of four advertising and public relations agencies in New York and New Jersey.  In addition to his daily work for ERC, he is in his fourteenth year of teaching graduate students in a Master’s Degree in Communications program at Seton Hall University.  In that capacity, he became the spokesperson for the school on matters pertaining to advertising and communications.  He has been featured on CBS, FOX NEWS, WABC,WOR,BBC and other television and radio networks as well as been quoted in publications such as the NY Times, Daily News, Boston Globe, LA Times, USA Today, US News & Word Report, St. Petersburg Times and many others.
