Emprendt Latino Highlights Business Successes of Former Miss Universe Barbara Palacios

Nov. 11, 2011 - PRLog -- Emprendt Latino (Emprendt.com) kicks off Emprendt Live, a series of conversations with successful Hispanic entrepreneurs at 8 a.m., on Nov. 17 at The University of Miami in Coral Gables with a chat with motivational speaker, author and Venezuelan businesswoman Barbara Palacios in front an audience of local business people.

The live interview with the former Miss Universe will be moderated by Heradio Luces, co-founder of Emprendt Latino, an organization that promotes entrepreneurship and good business practices among Hispanics business owners in the United States.
Barbara published her first book “The Beauty of How to Live” last year and is currently preparing her second book “Far from My Shadow, Close to the Light, which is expected in early 2012. She is also launching a franchise called Inspirational Shop.

“We want to highlight how Latino entrepreneurs can be successful in the U.S. This will be a great opportunity for Latinos to learn how others achieved success," Luces said. “In this moment the only solution for the economic situation is to showcase successful entrepreneurs and business owners.”

Emprendt Latino launches its business conversation series during Global Entrepreneurship week, making it the only local Hispanic organization with an event hosted by the University of Miami during the global celebration of startups and innovators.

Emprendt Latino plans to host more conversations with top Latino entrepreneurs as a part of the group’s efforts to promote Hispanic entrepreneurship and better business practices.

Emprendt Live continues its positioning during Global Entrepreneurship Week, the world’s largest celebration of the innovators and job creators taking place in over 104 countries around the world who launch startups that bring ideas to life, drive economic growth and expand human welfare.
