Lebanese author tours the US - Hollywood, Michigan and Pennsylvania

Nov. 11, 2011 - PRLog -- Camp Hill, PA - Sunbury Press author, Karim El Koussa, a native of Lebanon, is currently touring the US with stops in Hollywood, California, Michigan and Pennsylvania. El Koussa is the author of "Pythagoras the Mathemagician" and "The Phoenician Code", novels that are woven with alternative spiritual and historical views about religion and the Middle East.

"The Phoenician Code" by Karim El Koussa was released by Sunbury Press at the end of October. Karim is now in the US for a book tour. His first appearance was Saturday, November 5, Literary Night at the Hollywood Corner (Hollywood, CA), hosted by the LA Cedars Rotary Club. Mr. Ferris Wehbe introduced Karim to the audience waiting anxiously to hear what he had to say about his latest book. Karim explained the plot of his book "The Phoenician Code" and how the Phoenician Alphabet stood at the foundation of writing. He then covered his previous work, "Pythagoras the Mathemagician". Q&A and a book signing followed.

Karim is traveling to Scranton, Pennsylvania, for his second book signing event at the City Cafe Mediterranean Restaurant in Downtown Scranton, PA, 116 N. Washington Avenue, on the evening of Saturday, November 12 from 6:00 pm till 9:30 pm.

His next appearance will be for an exclusive book-signing on the evening of Tuesday, November 22, 2011 from 5 pm until 11 pm at the all-new Zazios at Green Leaf Centre in downtown Birmingham, Michigan. The evening is billed as ‘Night of a Hundred Stars’ and the theme for this year’s gala is ‘Celebrating Friends of Lebanon’, where the Lebanese American Chamber of Commerce will honor Geraldo Rivera, Pope John Paul II (posthumously), United States Assistant Secretary of State for Near Eastern Affairs, US Ambassador Jeffrey D. Feltman, and legendary automotive mega-dealer Martin J. 'Hoot' McInerney for a lifetime of achievements, with a prestigious Pillar of Baalbek Award during the 2011 Golden Cedar Awards Gala Spectacular! The Chamber will also welcome direct from Lebanon a very Special Guest Presenter - Beirut News Anchor & TV Personality, Miss Mirna Makhoul, and recognize: His Eminence Edmund Casimir Cardinal Szoka, former Governor of the Vatican and close personal friend of the late Pontiff, following his acceptance of the Pillar of Baalbek Award on behalf of His Holiness Pope John Paul II. The keynote address will be delivered by Governor Rick Snyder for Michigan and the Master of Ceremonies will be Paul W. Smith.
