Newburyport, MA Single-family Home Prices Rise, Sales Fall October 2011

Nov. 23, 2011 - PRLog -- The median price of single-family homes in Newburyport, Massachusetts significantly increased, but sales decreased in October 2011, according to data analyzed by Buyers Brokers Only LLC (http://www.buyersbrokersonly.com), an exclusive buyer agent real estate firm.

The data were compiled using MLS Property Information Network, Inc, a local multiple listing service.

The median price of single-family homes increased 35.8 percent in October 2011 compared to the previous year, a difference of $139,416.  Single-family home sales in Newburyport, MA dropped 30 percent, with three less sales in October of 2011.

Condominium sales in Newburyport, MA decreased 25 percent in October, a difference of two sales compared to October 2010. The median price of condos fell 27.6 percent in October 2011, a difference of $85,500 compared to October 2010.

There were three multi-family homes sold in October 2011 in Newburyport, up from zero sales in the previous month of October.
