Established in 1985 with the vision of bringing high-quality arts experiences to underserved young people, the organization evolved, improving its program offerings. We added leadership and community service opportunities, as well as needed academic, job readiness, and mental health services to support the artistic, intellectual, and leadership development of our participants. Now in its 27th year of service, CityKids has been an anchor in the downtown community since its inception, helping young people make a successful transition into adulthood.
