Nov. 9, 2011 - PRLog -- Hoag Hospital Foundation officials today announced the appointment of three new Foundation Board Members.  They are:

•   Robert Brunswick, founder, president and CEO of investment management firm Buchanan Street Partners;

•   Pei-Yuan Chia, chairman of the Chia Family Foundation, Inc. and a Trustee Emeritus of the Asia Society;

•   Stephanie Nichols McClellan, M.D., a specialist in gynecologic surgery and women’s health.

"We are extremely honored to welcome these three highly respected members of the community to the Hoag Hospital Foundation,” said Flynn A. Andrizzi, Ph.D., Senior Vice President of Hoag Memorial Hospital Presbyterian and President of Hoag Hospital Foundation.  “As an integral partner in Hoag Hospital’s mission to provide world-class medical care, the Foundation benefits tremendously from the expertise and guidance of accomplished and dedicated members such as Robert, Pei-Yuan and Stephanie.”

As the philanthropic arm of Hoag Hospital, Andrizzi said the Foundation helps to advance the mission of Hoag through meaningful and inspirational partnerships.  The Foundation’s vision, he said, is to serve as a trusted philanthropic partner and play an integral role in the hospital’s success.

Under the direction of its volunteer Board of Directors, the Foundation conducts programs and campaigns that generate more than $35 million per year in gifts and pledges. Funds go toward capital projects, equipment purchases, innovative program development and clinical research.
