To celebrate, prices are discounted by 20% until 20th December. And .......

About the columns

Manufactured within the EC by experienced chromatographer-technicians

The following ranges are available:

Columns are available direct from Stratlab or through authorised dot-red® distributors in the UK and overseas.

Product range

Most popular column phases, lengths and diameters are either available. In fact, if a column has been made, we can re-make it or offer something even better.

Standard column range

* Polarity: from the apolar DR-1 (100% methyl polysiloxane) to DR-10 (100% cyanopropyl polysiloxane)
* Length: 10 to 60m
* Film thickness: from 0.05 to 5µm
* Column internal diameter: 0.18 to 0.32mm ID

Wide bore (0.53mm ID) column range

* Polarity: as Standard columns above
* Length: 10 to 1055m
* Film thickness: to 5µm

High speed columns

* These are ideally suited for ultra-fast GC separations. Columns can be specified to absolutely maximise the separation requirements
* Polarity: as Standard columns above
* Length: 2 to 30m
* Film thickness: from 0.05 to 0.5µm
* Column internal diameter: 0.05 to 0.15mm ID

Tailored application columns

The 22 phases and/or column types already released cover a wide range of applications from explosive (DR-TNT8095) to Lipids (DR-LIP), to direct aqueous injection (DR-DIR). Many columns have developed through close customer co-operation.

Chiral

A range of chiral phases also feature in the .red® range. These are based on various cyclodextrin derivatives for separation.

High temperature

A newly developing range of columns offering good stability at high temperature. This includes a 300ºC -wax column, opening up new application areas.

Accessories

Retention gaps and press-fit connectors are also in the range.
