Institute for Accounting with Free Software launches a FREE Directory of accountancy professionals

Nov. 8, 2011 - PRLog -- London, November 2011.  The IAFS, to meet it objectives of  helping and saving thousands for small businesses and students of accountancy through the use of FREE accounting software, is launching a FREE directory listing for accountants and bookkeepers who offer their services also using free accounting software, so that business, self-employed and professionals have information in one place to find such service provider locally.

The FREE directory listing request is now open. Such service is much needed so that businesses have an alternative available to expensive software like Sage or QuickBooks saving them thousands over the years, in training, support, usage and licence fees.

Please note The IAFS may indicate in the listing if the software is accredited by it or not. This is to provide further  independent  information and assurance to the users about the status of the software offered by the listed firm. The IAFS accreditation assures users of the ‘honesty’ and limitation of the software in their claims for being a free software. Their own choice of software can also apply, if they wish, for the accreditation to assure the end users. Alternatively the listed firm can download The IAFS accredited software, test them, and add to their own list if they feel confident to  supply service in them which will add a quality assurance.
