Nov. 8, 2011 - PRLog -- XAware, Inc., a leading provider of data integration software and consulting, announced today that it has delivered the next release of its comprehensive solution for building services connecting to enterprise data sources. XAware 5.6 expands it’s data integration options and strengthens the offering for customers using Spring, JBoss, and Oracle.

“We continue to see growth in service-oriented implementation strategies, where our data services tooling is a proven accelerator”, noted Kirstan Vandersluis, Chief Scientist at XAware.  “This release expands the environments we support and provides better access to broadly used tools like Spring, JBoss, and Oracle.”

Data services developed using XAware typically combine data from multiple sources, making it accessible with a simple service call using a common XML or JSON format.  Inbound XML documents or messages are likewise processed into multiple data sources as appropriate, in a transaction-safe manner.  Data services built with XAware are in broad use across industries including financial services, government, insurance, health care, and telecommunications.  XAware's feature-rich product is delivered as an Eclipse-based plug-in for rapid, visual development, and a server component for deployment into the run-time environment.

XAware 5.6 includes a number of important enhancements, including:
1.  Spring Bean Access.  A Spring-based solution already, XAwarenow includes a connector that communicates directly with other Spring Beans configured in the environment.  Data may be pulled directly out of Spring Beans into an XML view alongside other data sources.   Data may also be pushed into Spring Beans for any required processing.
2.  JBoss6 Deployment.  The 5.6 release now will configure an existing JBoss6 installation eliminating all manual steps and making it a snap to deploy XAware into the JBoss6 environment.  What would have previously taken eight manual steps, now simply takes launching the installer, selecting the directory to search for the JBoss6 installation and letting the installer run.
3.  Oracle Proxy Connection Support.  Many organizations with Oracle use a proxy configuration to share Oracle connections.  XAware now supports easy configuration and connection to these Oracle-specific features.
